What kind of massage are you looking for?

I wish I could say I have tried them all, but there are more 150 massage modalities.

I am a massage therapist and I work in the Phoenix Valley, here in Arizona. Phoenix is the spa capital of the world. Getting to every massage modality available here in Phoenix is going to be an effort.

My schooling for massage was also done here at Arizona School of Massage Therapy, (ASMT). It was a great school. I learned so much, thanks to all the instructors, I know the difference from a good massage and a great one.

Many bodyworkers integrate different techniques into a session according to client needs. Good consultation is necessary. Don't hold back information regarding any physical, (and yes), mental conditions. Medication, herbs, surgeries, injuries, and body disfunction are all important to a good massage therapist.

Many things can be helped with bodywork, but only if the therapist knows about the condition and understands how to treat it. Even IBS can be helped by someone that knows, where the trigger points are located in the psoas muscle, and how to release them.

I have experienced, Trigger Point, Deep Tissue, Structural Integration, Russian Sport, Cranial Sacral, Reflexology, Shiatsu, to name a few. (mostly from the massage school I went to.) There are many more I want to try. These are only a few of what is out there. All are good, and can approach massage and bodywork in a different ways.

I am going to try as many different types of massage as I can. Actually it doesn't really matter what kind of massage I am getting, as long as there is that healing human touch involved.
